at Labencor we renew our commitment to the Green Pact🌱

This June 5, World Environment Day, from Labencor we reaffirm our commitment to a more sustainable and environmentally friendly future.

Two years ago, we joined the Green Pact, an initiative that was born when Vitoria-Gasteiz was named European Green Capital 2012, and symbolizes commitment to sustainability, responsible environmental management and competitive advantage through respect for the environment.

Since then, we have worked on concrete actions to reduce our environmental impact.

Highlights:

♻️ Circular Economy Area – 3R: Reduce, Reuse, Recycle:

• Reuse of computer equipment that would otherwise become waste.
• Recycling of plastic and paper.
• Internal reuse of paper.
• Use of second-hand computer equipment to extend its useful life.

🌡️ Carbon Footprint – Energy Efficiency:

• Control the use of air conditioning and heating, maintaining temperatures between 18ºC and 21ºC.
• Reduced energy consumption and electricity bill.
• Direct reduction of our carbon footprint.

📧 Good digital practices – Invisible pollution:

• We promote a more conscious use of email.
• We avoid forwarding unnecessary attachments in each response, as every shipment and every additional mega generates emissions.
• We opt for collaborative tools and shared links to minimize the digital impact.

💡For us, sustainability is not just a goal, it’s a way of doing things. Day by day, we continue to move forward with responsibility, consistency and vision.
