Labencor Labencor successfully participates in INTERCOMPARACIÓN for the Cycle Test PV1200 for testing laboratories.

Labencor has successfully completed its participation in the intercomparison organised in Germany by DRRR (Deutsches Referenzbüro für Ringversuche und Referenzmaterialien GmbH) for the Cycle PV1200 in which 26 laboratories from different countries have participated (Germany: 15, International: 11; UE:6).

The applied statistic yields for Labencor the value z’-scores 0.00 in the valuation of Cross-cut s/N UNE-EN ISO 2409:2021, obtaining the rating of:

“excellent performance”✅

This reflects the proper functioning of Labencor as a corrosion testing laboratory and motivates us to persist in that direction. 😀

The objective of cross-comparisons is to assess the performance of laboratories on how they conduct their tests. Many laboratories work in isolation with the risk that a laboratory’s data may have errors, bias or significant differences compared to similar laboratories.

Aptitude tests provide an opportunity to make such comparisons and have an independent assessment of laboratory data compared with reference values (or other performance criteria) or with the performance of similar laboratories.

📑 The results of such participation provide laboratories with confirmation that laboratory performance is satisfactory or alert that investigation of potential problems within the laboratory is required.
