Labencor successfully participates in the INTERCOMPARISON Corrosion tessting (NSS) ISO 9227 for testing laboratories.

Labencor has successfully completed its participation in the intercomparison organized in Germany by DRRR (Deutsches Referenzbüro für Ringversuche und Referenzmaterialien GmbH) for the corrosion test of neutral salt spray (NSS) according to the UNE-EN ISO 9227 NSS:2023 in which 55 laboratories from different countries have participated (Germany: 22, International: 33 (EU: 20)).

The applied statistic yields for Labencor the z’-score value of 1.53 and mass loss of all test pieces tested in the correct range of 70±20 g/m2, obtaining the rating of:

“excellent performance”

This indicates the correct performance of Labencor as a corrosion test laboratory for testing according to the UNE-EN ISO 9227 NSS:2023 standard and encourages us to continue in the same line.
