Since last January 20, 2023, Labencor is part of the Spanish Society of Materials, SOCIEMAT.
Sociemat is a scientific society whose objective is to promote the development, dissemination and communication of Science and Materials Engineering.
Its mission is to promote and disseminate the important research and development work being carried out in our country within the framework of Science, Engineering and Materials Technology.
Its multidisciplinary and generic nature allowed its later integration (1998) as a full partner in the European Federation of Material Societies (FEMS).
The Society is also a member of the Confederation of Spanish Scientific Societies (COSCE), the European Corrosion Federation (EFC) and collaborates, through various cooperation protocols, with other Spanish and Ibero-American Scientific Societies.
